General time line...
1000 hours - Funeral Service for Cmdr. Sam Lasiter commences. 1003 hours tip comes in for Commander K'tael about the assassination attempt on an Admiral at the funeral. 1015 hours Cmdr. K'Tael beams down to the funeral. 1030 Chapel service ends, and mourners file out to the burrial site. Cmdr. K'Tael and Major Paulsen (funeral security detail commander) arrest Admiral Lasiter's security detail based on info from tip- one of the would be assassins is part of his detail. 1040 hours as burrial part of service begins three snipers open fire on the crowd. 1057 hours fire fight is over, and memorial park is locked down. Wounded are being transported up to Spacedock, and a starship in geo-synchronous orbit for treatment. Included in the injured are Rear Admiral Garibaldi. Admiral Lorin Renaud accompanies Garibaldi to Spacedock. 1103 hours explosion on Spacedock rupturing the hull, and causing major power system failures. 1105 Repair and medical teams dispatched to the damaged ares of Spacedock
1108 Commander Lauren Renaud arrives in Engineering and offers her assistance
1110 Dr. Inglesdottir finds Ceran D'amondra while helping the injured on the edges of the damaged portions of Spacedock
1112 Commander K'Tael arrives in the Operation Center
1115 Audra Firehawk located by Admiral Lasiter and company before she is sent to nearby medical facilities
1120 Funeral resumed and concludes. Mourners disperce. Admirals Lasiter, Kitanya, and t'Llhweiir transport to the SF Command Complex in San Francisco. Lasiter hands out assignments to Kitanay and t'Llhweiir, then heads to the Operations Center to see President Montgomery. 1127 Lasiter is with President Montgomery. Kitanya and t'Llhweiir are meeting with their respective departments. 1132 Spacedock's space doors are opened to allow for docked starships to leave their moorings
Special Operations: Kitanya has meet up with her Chief of Staff Capt. Aurellius to find that Spec Ops is well in hand. Preparations have been made to respond at the moment the order is given from the President or Admiral Lasiter. Intell: Early intell reports are that no foreign power was involved, leading one to believe that this was a domestic attack. Efforts continue to confirm this. Intell on the Brotherhood are that they are a small, but radical Federation first group. They have been attributed to the attacks on Venasian diplomats (shuttle explosion and the murder of Chief Investigator Telax), as well as the murder of the Spacedock's former first officer. A man named Pony, whis is a member of Starfeet, is the leader of a cell on the station, and may be involved int he recent attacks. Pony currently resides in the Brig on SPD. Spacedock Crew: Spacedock's doors have been opened thanks to the efforts of repair teams to give them a priority. All three Sickbays are receiving injured. Tertiary Sickbay, which is the closest one to the damaged areas is receaving some pretty heavy casualties. As of yet no dead have been found, but the immediate area of the explosion has not been reached as of yet. Emergency power is going strong. Repairs are definitely under way.
Council: The Council has just finished a meeting with representatives from the Venasian government and mility. While little was actually accomplished, the Council aired their concerns about Venasian relations with Tkuka. The Council has stated that the world proposed as a new homeworld for the Venasian people was a gift contingent upon the freedom of the Tkukan people. Secretary V'nquera aired concerns about the world, saying that there was a possible poison in the atmosphere of the planet. Many of the ambassadors noted a wierd look about the Secretary's companion.
