> While Admiral Lorin Reuand and Commander Shevab, Vice Admiral called on
>Lorin's private line and interrupted the meeting.

> "Admiral Renaud, I am sorry to interrupt. Admiral Lasiter is finishing up
a >impromptu meeting with Admirals Kitanya and t'Llhweiir, and will want to
meet >with you and your staff. A few other Admirals from Starfleet Command
will be >in on that meeting. I will be, as will Rear Admiral Smallwood from
Security. >Kitanya and t'Llhweiir may or may not be there. However, the
CinC will want to >see all of your senior staff present. Those that are in
sickbay will, of course, not >need to be there. I am sorry about the short
notice, but you probably have 15 >maybe 20 minutes. I suggest having some
answers ready to his likely questions. >Make a short list of what you will
need to improve security, overhaul engineering >to make such a bombing less
likely in the future, and be sure to have an idea >what happened up on the
station.", Feylan said upon making the connection. He >was polite and
professional as was his custom, but he was slightly hurried from >what Lorin
could tell.

"Please hold Admiral..." he looked at Shevab but kept the line open so
Feylan could hear, "Commander, you are dismissed-we'll continue this later.
Be in Briefing Room 1 in 10 minutes and have solid answers as to how to
improve your department. Dismissed." He did not give an opportunity for
response, keyed the door open to put the point thru and continued with the
conversation with Feylan.

>"There is one other thing. I just got the latest update on the casuality
reports >from the sniper attack. Commander M'Rrenn was listed amoung the
dead. I am >not sure if Admiral Lasiter has seen it yet, but I have the
feeling that he will be a >bit... annoyed when he finds out." From the way
that Feylan was talking, >selecting words carefully and diliberately, Lorin
could tell that he was being >*polite* and downplaying things. In real
terms, that when Lasiter fould out that >his long time Chief of Staff was
killed during the funeral for his son the perverbial >shite will hit the
fan.

"Good lord..." He took a deep breath..."We'll be there Admiral. Anything
else?"

(response-assume not-will bktrk if necessary)

He walked out to Ops, "Mr. Arsineau, Commander K'Tael. I want you to gather
all Senior Spacedock staff who are not in Sickbay-including Captain Boulay.
Get them to Briefing Room 1 in 10 minutes-no excuses. I also want ideas from
both of you as to how to protect us against future issues such as this.
Also..." he looked at the ground briefly, "Commander M'rrenn has been Killed
in Action. That is all."

Without another word, Lorin step-turned and walked back in his office and
gathered his things. He went to the Briefing Room early so he could have a
moment.
