After watching Shevab and Knucklebiter take their place, Lorin stood.
"Are there any questions before we connect to the other people involved in this meeting? I can't emphasize enough how we need to be sharp in this meeting. We need to give answers to whatever questions we are given. I need you folks-I don't have the answers."
K'Tael could feel the tenseness in the air. It was clear that the Admiral and Commander Shevab were going to have a challenging relationship. The two men had already had one "discussion" in the Admiral's office, and K'Tael had noticed the CO stiffen when the Horta arrived. It probably had more to do with the fact that Shevab had arrived with Knucklebiter, who was not actually part of the Command staff.
"While we are still in the early stages of our investigation, I am sure that we will have many of the answers the Admirals will be looking for, sir. We have pretty much identified the organization involved in causing the explosion, if not the particular individuals."
