T'Kresh turned to the group. "It would seem that we have arrived. I would like to send a small delegation to Earth once we have settled in to offer the Council's condolences to President Mongomery and Admirals Lasiter and Renaud. Could I have some volunteers?"

"I may not be available, as I will have to report directly to my superiors. However, I would like to take part if I am available.", Na'Tral answered.

Valtris put her hand on the Tellarite's shoulder. "I would be proud to stand with you as we offer our condolences."

He looked at the Klingon, "I would be most honored if you would be there with me."

T'Kresh was surprised to see the two ambassadors talk in this way. They were contentious and argementative most of the time. Apparently, they had actually built a bit of a friendship over the last few weeks since they had gone to Pacifica. "Then, it seems we have a representative team. We want to present our support, not overpower them. If you are unable to attend Ambassador Na'Tral, we will understand, but I am sure that your government would love to have you as part of this party."

Melora sneered from the table at all of this feel good emotion floating among the Council members. Granted, what had happened at the funeral and to the station was horrible, it was no reason they had to be nice to each other. She glanced toward Ambassador Ael and rolled her eyes in disgust.

Ael held such displays of emotion in a certain amount of distain. It was not the Romulan way. However, that is not to say that she didn't understand the significance of the reaction. The Federation and the Klingon Empire were long tiem allies, with a checkered past. But that did not mean that the cantankerous duo would not stand together if either were attacked.

"It would seem as if we have arrangements made. We will just have to contact the President's office to make arrangements," continued the Klingon. "We should probably hear back from our scientific expedition to the potential new Venasian homeworld by the time we finish speaking with him."
