[OOC: backtracking slightly. Sorry! Randye, didn't see the post... my bad.]

>"Didn't know the ol' lady had it in her," Nabru said from behind Liridian.
>
>Nabru tried to sound flippant, but there was something in the tone that

Steven sighed. "Yeah, but it's good to know she does have it in her,
don't you think?"

>> Shoving down the twinge of pain he knew he'd have to deal with later,

The Boliann nodded. "Welcome aboard, Commander," replied the ensign with a nod.
"Could I point you in a particular direction, sir?" he continued, knowing that that was
the usual second question from most new arrivals on the station.

Steven nodded. "You wouldn't happen to know if there are quarters for
me on board, would you? I would like to get settled in and then notify
my superiors that I've arrived."

"Yes, sir. VOQ, deck 44. The Computer can give you the specific room."

Steven nodded. "Thank you."

>Once they were cleared, Nabru continued. "So much for a vacation.
>Admiral t'Llhweiir's already got a new assignment for me."
>
"Oh? What kind of new assignment?"

[reply?]

Liridian out.
