>He stood and closed the doors after she entered, "You're a sight for sore
eyes Commander. You've been briefed on current situations I assume?"

>Audra nodded. "It is good to be back, Admiral. I am sorry that I have not
been around to help with things. It sounds like you could have used
everyone at your disposal to deal with current events."

"Well in your absence the rest of the team stood up admirably. I was quite
pleased at their support.

>"How has Admiral Lasiter been handling everything?"

"I wish I could say excellent but I won't lie. He needs us all..when he's
ready to attend to his grief he will come to who he trusts. We need to let
him decide when the right time is-either consciouslly or not."
Audra nodded.  It sounded like the perfect presecription for the CinC.  "How are repairs coming along?"

(Admiral?)

"I understand our new Chief Engineer is ... interesting is the word I think I was told," said Audra with a questioning tone and a smile.  She knew that the Horta had made strides in getting respect fromt he CO at the meeting, but she was looking to get some information about the officer she was going to have to work and coordinate with.
