"I was just heading for an update. Would you like to take a walk to Engineering?"
>Audra nodded before speaking "I understand our new Chief Engineer is ... interesting is the word I think I was told," said Audra with a questioning tone and a smile. She knew that the Horta had made strides in getting respect fromt he CO at the meeting, but she was looking to get some information about the officer she was going to have to work and coordinate with.
"He is incredibly detail-oriented and that he presented an incredible layout of the technical aspects of the bombing in the meeting. However he needs to learn to act on his own without always having to have Knucklebiter at his side. I put myself on the line to allow his assistant into a high-level meeting."
"Sounds like he could become a valuable part of the team if we could convince him to be a little more self-reliant. I heard that he and you had a bit of a run-in the day of the explosion." Audra was not prying, but hoping to smooth over future such discomforts.
