SHe clasped his shoulder. "I'll let you finish up herrre. I should go see
Black. We shall speak tomorrrrow. Tonight I have something I must do,"
she said, and the look in her eyes was unmistakeable. She was going to
honor a dead friend, something sacred in Klingon culture. Koloth would
understand.
He understood completely. "Who would that be?", he asked kindly. Kindly for a
Klingon.
"The only Caitian friend I had herrre," she said, her voice hollow and raw
with pain. "Intell cannot tell me yet who killed him, not forrr
cerrrtain." Her guilt gnawed at her. She saved a human instead of a
Caitian. M'Rrell died as she was saving Lasiter. Could the gods forgive
her? She doubted it. "He was morrre a diplomat than a warrriorr, but he
had morrre strrrength and courrrage than many of the warrrriorrs I have
known. He wanted to go fight with you, Koloth, against the felinids. I
talked him out of it. I was afrrraid forrr him." She chuckled bitterly.
"I thought it was too dangerrrous." The irony was sharp and jagged.
{OOC: I am assuming that you meant M'Rrenn not M'Rrell...}
"You bring him great honor by remembering him. You can not make things better, nor
bring honor to either of you if you second guess your self. It must have been his
time. All that is left to do is to honor his memory.", he said trying to focus her
attention on the Klingon way of looking at the bright side. It was, afterall, the
warrior way.

Moments later a nurse entered, "Admiral, Captain... Rear Admiral Black is regaining
consciousness. He is asking for the both of you."
