>"As long as the Council is in majority agreement it sounds good to me."
>
>T'Kresh jumped in.  "Is that a motion to accept Ambassador Damesh's proposal to >bring Golan Dulath before the Council, Mr. Watson?"

"Yes that is a motion to accept Ambassador Damesh's proposal to bring Golan Dulath before the Council."

The Romulan Ambassador had remained quiet for most of the discussion.  She had little to offer for information and to be honest, she was not sure whether the Council had the right to interfere with Cardassian politics.  The Cardassian was the one to offer this option.  With that said, she had come to respect Golan Dulath and would regret greatfully any harm that befell him. "I would be willing to second Ambassador Watson's motion."

T'Kresh nodded.  "All in favor."

There was a unanimous response of ayes from the group.

"All opposed."

Only silence was heard.

"Ambassador Damesh, please inform the Council when we can expect to greet Mr. Dulath once arrangements have been made," said the Chair as she eyed the Cardassian representative warily.  She did not believe this was over, but it was the best that could be done for know.

"Understood, Madam Chair.  I will contact Cardassia Prime as soon as this meeting is concluded."

"Thank you, Madam Ambassador," replied the Chair.  "Is there anything else that any of the member states would like to bring up before we adjourn?"

(anyone?)
