"You also seem to be much more interested in the politics of Council discussion than I would have expected. Ferengi tend to get involved in galactic politics only for their own needs." "I think you will find that the Ferengi are not what you think, Ambassador Valtris. We are different from all of the other powers on the Diplomatic Council. We are not a geographic unit based on military might or diplomatic union. Instead, we are brought together through economics. That does not mean that we are not interested in galactic politics ... just that we look at it differently. Our strengths and interests are just different." (response?)
