"I just came from meeting with Mr. Jorgenson.  He has tentatively agreed to
your proposal, though, he does want to hear the details before he fully
signs on."

K'Tael was surprised, and it was on more than one level.  Ms. Moiraine did
not beat around the bush, which was something he was not used to
experiencing when he was dealing with lawyers.  They tended to try to hide
everything in a fog so they could try and achieve what they wanted.

He was also surprised the Jorgenson was so willing to talk.  He had been
very reticent about sharing information at the interview session.  He had to
wonder what had turned things around.  He was glad that the Brother had done
so, though.  "I believe that I have made some arrangements that might work
as long as he approves.  He must understand that I am going to want all the
information he can provide me with, Ms. Moiraine.  I am not going to do this
and get little in return."

Ione nodded.  "I think that my client understands that, Mr. K'Tael.  The
thing to remember is that you won't get anything from him if he is dead."

K'Tael couldn't help but sneer at the comment.  "I think that is understood
among all of us."

"Commander, while I don't support my client's viewpoints, I am not sure that
he made the best decision.  While he needs to be rehabilitated, he needs to
be alive in order to do that.  I am not sure that you can guarantee that."

"Ms. Moiraine, you are a lawyer, and as such, I am sure that you realize
that nothing is guaranteed in life.  I have started making arrangements that
should work to protect your client.  I have every reason to believe that it
will.  It will be in a safe zone where I have previously sent someone in
your client's shoes.  I think that it is important to remember that your
client got himself into this mess all on his own."

Ione studied the Klingon.  He stood his ground and was not intimidated by her gruff exterior.  She was actually impressed, though she probably should not have been surprised.  She took a deep breath before continuing.  "My apologies, Commander.  I sometimes take my job a little bit serious. I don't have to respect by clients, but I do have to protect and defend them."

(K'Tael?)

"What are these plans that you have put together?"
