Instead, she tapped her comm badge. "Commander Kirk to Captain Boulay."
There was no answer....
"Captain, I received a call from your uncle. He was a little concerned about how things went during lunch. I was wondering if you would like to talk with me for a bit."
He hit his badge but there was silence...then a shaky voice called out, "Holodeck 3-freeze program-open doors."
The Holodeck doors opened to show David sitting flat on his butt on the ground with an older man standing nearby and looking down at him with mouth frozen in mid-sentence. He looked remarkably like his son. David was shaking visibly...moreso than in her office in his rage.
Once she came in, he called out, "Holodeck close doors and continue program."
He looked at her, "Commander Kirk meet Admiral Grady Renaud...Lorin's brother and my father."
Grady stopped and looked at her, "I sense you are here to help my son..help him more than I could. He needs you Commander...or David's freedom will be at risk."
Joanna nodded her head. "I will do everything in my power to make sure David is OK, Admiral. How has he been since he arrived here?"
