>"Horrtha," said Tr'Lawsh. "HORRTHA!" She looked at Daphne. "Grrrab him!
>Ssshake him!" They had to get him under control. "HORRTHA!" she roared,

>The roar worked as anticipated. He settled down straight away. His
attention was totally fixed on the Caitian. Every sense was on the cat,
waiting for instructions. Just as his training had conditioned him.

"Horrtha, I feel yourrr rrrage," she said, this time looking directly into
his eyes. She *did* feel his rage. And Daphne could see that Tr'Lawsh's
attitude had suddenly changed. This was not an enemy, but a victim. She
saw her own kind, twisted into something terrible, and she hated the people
who had done it. "The quessstion isss, what arrre you going to do about
it? Will you sssit back and let the Korrat do thisss to you, brrreed you
like animalsss to ssserrrve and die forrr them? Orrr will you take the
firrrsst ssstep in helping yourrr people become frrree?"

[I must tell General Traknor. He will know what to do.] The young felinid was
scared, and he was reverting back to his training. He was reverting back to his chain
of command. In this vulnerable state he could be controled, pumped for information.
Possibly even turned against those that enslaved him and his people.
