"Very good," Bedru stated as she gathered her padd and stood, indicating her readiness to go. "Then right this way. The Council chambers are just down the hall for ease of access." (Bedru?)
A few moments later, the two women enterred the chambers. There were simply decorated with the most important piece of furniture being a conference table. There was already a Cardassian in the room. She was very formally dressed, which would have indicated that that she was the Cardassian Ambassador. This was confirmed thanks to the introduction by the Aqualish Ambassador.
"Ambassador Damesh, thank you for getting back to us so quickly on this matter. Before the others get here, I would like to introduce you to Admiral Candace Bedru. She is going to be sitting in with the Council."
The Cardassian eyed the human for a moment. It was clear from the woman's facial _expression_ that there was no desire to have another human on the Council. She did extend a hand. "It is a ... pleasure to have you join us, Admiral," replied the Cardassian with a clearly-forced smile.
(Bedru? Any other Ambassadors want to enter?)
