"Haven't you read the news reports? They've closed Spacedock to non-essential visitors. How am I supposed to get up there?"
Richard's sneer just widened. "Let's just say that we have ways of getting people onto the station. The Brotherhood has quite a presence there. As for what information I want. I am looking for things that aren't in the news reports. Those are sanitized for political reasons. I want to know about the real Ambassadors."
Those at the table could clearly see the play of emotions on Jaime's face: anger at Richard and fear of what he was asking her to do. She looked to her twin brother. "James?" she asked.
James himself was a bit torn. He obviously felt for and wanted to protect his sister, but he knew that she was going to have to start pulling her weight if she was going to stay a member of the cell. Richard didn't really like her all that much. In fact, he was suspicious. She needed to prove herself to get the cell leader off her back. Besides what could happen on Spacedock.
"It should be all right, Jaime. You will just be doing reconnaissance. You will just be talking to people and getting a feel for things. You will be no different than any of the other tourists on the station."
(Jaime?)
