A few moments later, the Captain's combadge chirped.
"Bridge to Captain. Sir, the starbase has sent over the Admiral's things. We can make way at your command.", called the watch officer- LCMR Black.
"Thank you, Mr. Black. Please lay in a course for Spacedock, warp factor six."
"Aye, sir. Course for Spacedock at warp factor 6. Bridge out.", Black repeated the order as was naval tradition.
Turning his focus to the task at hand, heading home.
"All stations prepare to get under way. Helm set a course for Spacedock, sector 001 at warp 6. Tactical, since we have brass on board pay special attention to the long range scans. We don't want any surprises."
The woman at tactical nodded with all seriousness. "Understood, sir."
LCDR Black waited for all stations to report ready, before giving the final order to get goin'.
As the various stations reported ready, Black signaled the starbase that they were ready to depart. Clearance was given. Then.....
"Let's get goin' people. Helm, engage.", Black ordered.
The small ship slowly made it's turn to head out into space, away from the station and on to sector 001 and Spacedock.
