Lorin restrained the urge to relieve him of his command on the spot, "Request Denied. I cannot let you go with recent events. Your second is perfectly capable of going on this mission. Please have Lieutenant Knucklebiter prepare to leave immediately after this meeting. He is more than capable of doing this mission. You are needed on station. Matter of fact you and I have been ordered to see Admiral Lasiter immediately after this meeting."

{Very well. Then call him. I will be awaiting you in the Admiral's office} and shambled back on his transport and left the room.

Lorin didn't want to upset the Io personnel anymore than they'd already been shaken up-he hit his commbadge, "Admiral Renaud to Knucklebiter. Please report immediately to Briefing Room for service on an Away Team. Renaud out."

He looked at the team, "I apologize for the delay. Once Mr. Knucklebiter gets here we'll continue. He's generally quite prompt."

Aravis could feel the tenseness in the room, and it definitely had made her uncomfortable. It was not often that one experiences such an interaction in Starfleet, but it did happen. She was glad that it was over, and they would soon be getting back to business. "Admiral, while we are waiting, I was wondering what transport were we going to be using to get to Io?"
