"Be seated," t'Llhweiir answered briskly, but not unkindly.  She was obviously a
lady with a lot on her plate and little time for niceities.  "Mr. Liridian,
were you briefed on the information I relayed to Admiral Kitanya?"

Steven sat down while still remaining at attention.  It would not do to waver in 
protocol if the instruction had not been given.

"Yes, Ma'am.  I was informed that there have been ships going missing for the last
several years.  I have been assigned to go looking in the area for anything unusual."
