"One method would involve infiltrating the Brotherhood. At present, I have one agent under deep cover. Since I have not heard from the agent, I have reason to believe that the agent has been successful."

K'Tael was surprised to hear the Chief of Intelligence let out such information so easily. While he knew that she trusted him on that matter, it was still surprising. "Would it be possible for us to coordinate our information retrieval? It might be possible that information we collect could help the other in their research."

"I will have to serve as the sole conduit," she replied. "The agent reports only to me, and you are the only one who knows that someone is in place. However, you should not hold off your investigations awaiting a report. I will hear from the agent only when the agent has something critical to pass to me."

The admiral made it obvious that she would not go into more specifics about the deep cover agent.

K'Tael nodded with understanding. He did not want to endanger t'Llhweiir's agent. "I will make sure that we get all information from our investigation to your office as soon as possible, Admiral. Please let me know if there is anything that I or my department can do to assist you or your agent."

t'Llhweiir nodded. "I will do the same for you. In the meantime, what assistance do you need?"

"I believe that we should be all set unless you wanted to place one of your agents as part of the interview team." K'Tael made the offer knowing that Admiral would like faster access to the information he was garnering.
