"Aye, aye, sir. Bringing her around to the entrance in the upper decks," replied Carrick as the ship slide easily up from the Engineering area to the "mushroom cap" of the station. The doors were already opened and allowed for more than enough space for the vessel to clear the entrance. As the Centurian glided in, the natural brightness of the sun was replaced by the dim lighting of the station's interior. A moment later, the ship glided to a halt in the designated dock.

"Captain, all mooring secured, sir. The gangway is being connected, and will be ready for dismebarking crew and guests momentarily."

Colin touched the appropriate pad on the arm of his captain's chair.  "Admiral, we are home.  It would be my pleasure, sir, to meet you at the starboard airlock on Deck 2 and present you to Spacedock's officer of the deck."

(eh?)

"Ladies, gentlemen," he told them, "a fine flight, as always.  I thank you for your splendid work."

(eh?)

He stood and straightened his uniform.  "I will check in with the watch officer and do the necessary paperwork and then return here.  I should be quite unhappy if the entire bridge crew did not then immediately disembark for some very much needed rest and unwinding.  I'll be in touch should the powers that be deign to send us out earlier than they should. Otherwise, please treat yourselves to a nice dinner planetside.  You've all certainly earned it."

(eh?)

"I'll be back presently then. Please lock your stations down as appropriate."

He headed off to meet the admiral.  Once at the airlock, he entered his command codes and waited for the hatches to open for them.
