Bedru disengaged her hand the instant Watson was on the pad. She took a
position beside him. To the transporter chief she said, "Energize."
"Aye, Aye, Admiral.", answered the Chief. A quick moment later, the shimmering of the
transporter effect took hold of the two of them. They reappeared on Earth in the main
building of the campus that is known as Starfleet Command. There there were greeted,
not by a Chief Petty Officer, but a Lieutenant. HQ did operate differently than the
rest of the fleet....
