"I'll do my best not ta need ya, Cap'n. Feel free to take your leave. I can have someone stand a dock watch with one of your juniors, providin' that your ship has a skelleton crew.", a genuine offer if he choose to accept it.
Colin checked his watch at that inviting offer. "Well, sir, there are a few things I need to take care of, but if I could be relieved at, say, 1900, it would allow me to take my senior staff to dinner."
