Bedru had no reason she was willing to share with Lasiter. How could she? She
was not even sure herself. She only knew that working with Watson threw her
off balance.
"I have no excuse, Sir," she said simply.
Lasiter looked her over, deciding just what he wanted to do next. His decision didn't
take long...
"Because of the arena that you will be working, and, specifically, the man that you
will be working with you will have to be on your toes more often than not. This can't
happen again."
