>Still not opening the document, the technician then scanned the DNA traces
>and had the computer analyze it.

>"At least we can start saying it is definitely originating from
Cardassia."

>"I did not say that, Ambassador," the technician cautioned.

"I apologize....what do we know? The former Ambassador's DNA is at least on
it, is that correct?"

>Benning was already concluding that it would not be a good idea to give
Watson
>too much information at this time. The ambassador was too quick to rush to
>judgment based on too incomplete information. Plus, he had the feeling
that
>t'Llhweiir would want to see his complete report before it was given to
Watson.

>"Ambassador," he said, "This is going to take a while. I will need to
bring in
>a couple more people to analyze the biological material and other evidence
I'm
>detecting. I should have something fairly complete by morning."

"All right. We'll go with that. I'll stop by first thing in the morning.
Thank you for your time and attention n this."

(response)

With that Lorin left and went to Rilg's office, "Ambassador Watson here to
see Ambassador Rilg please."

(once let in the office)

"Thank you for your time at such a late hour. I need to speak to you about
what you presented to the Council about the former Cardassian Ambassador."

(response)

"I'm in process of analyzing and authenticating the scroll supposedly from
the Cardassian Ambassador. Have you done the same with your information?"
