>"While I would agree that this is not something that the Council would
>press to the point of war, but it is our duty to file an official
>resolution against such treatment whether it be against an individual or a
>group. That is what your own United Nations would have done."

>"I absolutely agree, but the United Nations would only go so far, and per
>our Prime Directive we will only go so far as to check on the Ambassador's status."

>The Ferengi nodded.  "And that is as it should be.  We represent our own people first, but pointing out and >criticizing errors does not interfere with your Prime Directive.  Actions do"

>"True...I am glad we agree....it's getting late." He stood up, "Thank you for your time. Watch your back >around Ambassador Damesh."

>Rilg stood up as well, understand that he was being dismissed by the hoo-man.  "I have every intention of >staying out of her way, Ambassador."

"I'm sorry to cut our meeting short but I am exhausted. Thank you again for your time. Have a good night Ambassador."

"It has been a long day," responded the Ferengi thinking how the day had started with the 10AM meeting of the Council.  It was now late evening.  With all of the meetings he had had today, he was looking forward to some sleep as well. He left for his own quarters.
