Aravis was definitely concerned about her commanding officer and his companions. "Is there any indication why the Commander and his group were attacked?"
"It's fairly clear it has something to do with the person they were going to talk to."
Aravis assumed that Renaud was referring to Mr. Jorgensen. She had actually been in charge of guard duty for him before she had been reassigned to this project. "We believe that we can duplicate the signal produced by the shuttle. Did you want us to try and pursue the ship through the transportation device?"
"That is your Choice Commander, but if you choose to do so take every precaution and document all your steps in case we have to go in after you."
"Understood, sir. I will make sure that we leave a record of everything that we have found with Commander McTiernan on Station Kerry. I will only bring along the team that was assigned to this mission from Spacedock."
