Admiral Lasiter was up early, as usual, but instead of reading the early morning
reports while enjoying a quiet coffee in his quarters, he dressed and headed to the
office.
He arrived just about 0640 hours, before any of his staff arrived. He left his outer
doors open, and made coffee. His brew, courtesy of the replicator was hot, light, and
sweet.
It was then he powered on his terminal, and saw the meeting request from Carrhae. He
accepted it, and began reading. RADM. Smallwood had sent him a terse message as well.
Apparently there was something bugging him. Lasiter would call him shortly when he
arrived in to his own office.
