"No problem, Sir," Wilson replied.  "How is Commander K'Tael?"

Wilson finally holstered her phaser.

"He has been sent to the primary medical facilities in this dome.  He is not
doing well.  My understanding is that he is in critical condition."

David's eyebrows furrowed, "I will need to see him if it is possible."

"Sir?  I know I'm not a doctor, but I thought he was doing better before he was
beamed over."  Wilson's concern was clear on her face.

Jenna nodded her head in understanding.  "I must admit that I have the same trouble in understanding the terminology of medicine.  While the commander was stabilized while aboard the Runabout, there seems to be a great deal of concern about the damage to his brain.  He is stable, but critical is what they told me.  I am sure our doctors would be willing to talk to you about the situation when you would like.  They are much more qualified to explain the situation than I"

(questions/comments?)

"Any update on the ship that attacked us?"

The woman shook her head.  "I have to say no.  They were able to elude
capture from the ships we sent out in pursuit of them.  We have not had an
incident like this on Mars in decades.  My first reaction is to question
whether it has something to do with the prisoner that Mr. K'Tael is having us
house."

He glanced at Wilson, "I'd say that's exactly what it has to do with. I
would recommend beefing up security, Captain. If they were that bold to go
after us, then who knows what else they'll do."

"Certainly a possibility.  None of the ships could track the attacker's
emissions?" Wilson asked.

"They were able to track them for some distance.   In fact, they reached the outer worlds of the Solar System, but they and their trails mysteriously disappeared out near Jupiter."

"Sir, I'd like to check on the commander.  Afterwards, would it be possible to
get a list of everyone who knows who your prisoner is or who saw him delivered
here?"

"That can definitely be arranged, Commander.  In fact, both of you could go if you like," she said noting Captain Boulay's earlier concerns about seeing the Security Officer.  "I can have one of my aides escort you to the hospital," said Jenna as she nodded toward one of the young officers present.  He stepped toward Wilson and waited for her to announce that she was ready.
