The Tellarite continued. "Whoever was doing the shooting was good. The targets they hit were too coordinated to be otherwise. They knew what they needed to hit, and hit them on target. It was too perfect to be random luck."
Harrison picked up where his partner stopped. "The energy weapons were higher quality than is normally found on a civilian ship, which is what she appeared to be. They were not standard-issue Starfleet phasers, but the energy signature was close. I would suggest that someone who knows our weapons well was the person who built them. They were either bought on the black market or were built by someone in the organization that made the attack." The first answer did not surprise Wilson at all. The Nile had been a sitting duck out there. "I had, almost, expected you to tell me that the weapon was Star Fleet issue. However, 'close' still makes me wonder. Is there any way we can put together a short list of--if not actually names--skills that might be necessary to built the weaponry?" Harrison paused for a moment, chewing his toothpick like it made thinking a little easier. "It should be possible. Starfleet uses particular frequencies in their phaser design. That is a pretty particular detail that only a few would have. That would not be limited to Fleeter personnel. Phaser production is also partially outsourced to private firms." (Wilson?) She turned to Firehawk. "Speaking of Star Fleet, Captain, can you find out if any staff here went on leave unexpectedly over the last couple of hours?" Jenna nodded. "That should just take a moment. I would just have to contact my personnel office and find that out." (Wilson?) (OOC: I am assuming that you would like to get the results right away, but will rewrite if you want her to do it later.) Jenna walked to the side and tapped her commbadge. A moment later, after having a brief conversation she returned. "There were no unexpected leaves or absences yesterday. There were a few people that were on leave, but according personnel, they were scheduled no later than 6 months ago, depending on the person." (Wilson?)
