"Commander, what is the status of the prisoner? Has there been any sort of attempt to get to him," asked the Klingon with interest. He would have found it odd if they had been attacked, but not the actual informant.

As he spoke he said quietly, "I'm going to find the Doctor to get you out of here."

The Klingon nodded in response as he awaited Perrin's response. He wanted to get back to work and that meant getting the approval of the medical staff of this >facility. Sending a lawyer might be a good thing in this situation since they could be persuasive.

"Mr. Jorgensen is still in his cell and has not been contacted by anyone besides his guards."

K'Tael was relieved to see that the prisoner was still secured. "I am glad to hear it. Captain Boulay and I will be meeting with him shortly. Please inform his guards to have him ready."

David stepped out of the room's doorway and looked around.

The door shushed open as she stepped toward the door, and she stepped in to find her patient dressed and ready to depart. She now remembered why she had opted to work in a primarily civilian hospital. Starfleet officers tend to feel as if they could order any one around. "Commander, I understand that you have returned to consciousness and are feeling better," she said as she pulled out a medical sensor and began taking scans.

K'Tael was almost taken by surprised by the Vulcan's entry. It was clear that she was not pleased with something. "Yes, I am definitely feeling better. I believe that I can return to duty."
