> RAdm Vitrell is by far the best administrator of the batch, having been in

(ooc: would carrhae have seen any of the mentioned interactions?)
{OOC: That's up to you. It would really depend on how much she would have
noticed while she was the Acting CinC and Lasiter was Chief of Starbase
Operations. }
t'Llhweiir asked the computer for a dossier on Vitrell. She would prefer to
submit at least two very strong candidates for Lasiter's consideration.
(ooc 2: this does not change what we discussed via phone a few days ago. i
merely want her to be able to say that the information is available for
lasiter's review.)
{OOC2: ok.}
Personnel Information
Name: Vitrell, Morgan Scott
Age: 52
Place of Birth: Celestra, Acamar III
Biographical Profile: The son of UFP diplomats, Morgan Vitrell was born on
Acamar III. He lived on several non Federation worlds accompanying his parents
on their many diplomatic assignments, until setteling down to a more permenant
home on Mars. He has a brother, who followed his parents vocation, and joined
the Federation Diplomatic Corps. Morgan's choice to join Starfleet was made
out of rebellion- his parents wanted (pushed) him to become a lawyer. Hobbies
include volleyball and scuba diving. He is a widower, with 2 sons.
Professional Summary: After an honorable career at Starfleet Academy, where
Morgan captained the volleyball team, he joined the crew of the USS Perseus as
the thrid shift flight controller. At the age of 29, Morgan had attained the
rank of LCMR and operations manager's position aboard the USS Griffin patroling
the Cardassian Border. It was here that he had extensive interaction with the
Cardassians, and his view of them was tainted.
After his assignment to the Griffin, he took an tempory assignment as an
exchange officer aboard a Klingon cruiser. This was one of his favorite
assignments. It is also where he truely learned about Klingon honor. After
this assignment, he was posted to the Federation Embassy on Kronos.
With his diplomatic assignment over, Vitrell returned to life aboard starships,
where he eventually command of 3 different starships.
Personality Profile: RADM Vitrell is well known and liked my starship captains
and fleet commander alike. His disarming manner have alowed him to work with
all types of personalities. He has a tendency to favor those that are upfront
and honest with him, and openly chastize those that hide or candy coat things.
"Problems are to be taken by the horns and resolved, not danced around hoping
that they will go away." is a favorite saying of his. Equally popular is,
"Command is not for the shy or the meek. Command is the reward and curse for
those who have the ability to make hard decisions and accept the consequences
for those decisions."
He has an inbreed mistrust for the Cardassians, that was cemented while he was
stationed on the Cardassian border. Interactions with various civil and
military officials to be frought with cover-ups, double talk, and out right
lies.
RADM Vitrell is popular with many ambassador to the Federation Council, but
especially the Vulcan, Betazoid, and Earth ambassadors, because of his
willingness to work with them and for his plain spoken manner.
