ooc: sorry, I'm still trying to catch up with this storyline...

>Turning ashen white, the human raised his weapon and before he could draw a bead on the ursoid, was roughly backhanded.  Both he and the phaser went flying in two directions.

>Aravis raced down the corridor toward the guard.  He was definitely out.  She nodded to Dr. Inglesdottir to check him out even though he just seemed unconscious.

>Knucklebiter said, "Sorry about the noise, I still have some dog poisoning," and smiled mischievously.

>"You took care of him quickly, and that is what is important," replied Aravis with a smile.

Hilda knelt down by the guard.  "He'll be all right, physically, although he'll probably hear that roar in his sleep for the next several years."

>She turned toward the door and stepped in.  The two scientists were sitting on the bench as they had expected.  They were tied up and gags in their mouths.  They appeared a bit stressed, but otherwise unharmed.

>She looked to KB.  "Can you carry them to the ship?  I want out of here before our friends in the control center figure a way out."

Hilda did a quick scan of all the scientists.  "They're fine.  A little dehydrated maybe."
