Roach submitted to the search without further protest. His smug
expression did not change. They would find the "toy" he used to get through
the forcefield
and a few other similar items. But no weapon. *And* no identification.

For the first time, the Roach looked worried. Had his transmission been
scrambled? Was all of this for nothing?

He said nothing, however.

His toys were found, and it was noticed that he had not a lick of
identification on him.

"Run his face and biometrics through the Starfleet's database. The FBI can run
him through theirs when they arrive.", Lt. Phillips said to the security
officer.

"Sir, do you care to tell us who you really are and why you used this to breech
a force field? We're not going to play cat and mouse here. Just give us
straight answers, so we can resolve this quickly and with as little fuss as
possible." Phillips was not playing games, and he hoped that his tone would
convey that message without being unnecessarily threatening.... However, being
a marine, being non-threatening was not a speciality of his.
