Hello, everyone,
I just got off the phone with AJ. He wanted me to pass along his sincere thanks to all of you who have sent kind words. He and Ray appreciate that you are all wishing them well.
There is some good news. Ray had a sonogram on his heart today and the technicians said things are looking good, the whole heart seems to be functioning. While that is not the doctor speaking, it means that she didn't notice anything. The doctor should be providing a report tomorrow to say if there was any damage indicated, though.
Ray's blood pressure is fully controlled now. They are still working on bringing down his heart rate a bit, but they do not seem to as concerned as they were. It looks like he might be out of the worst. There is even talk that he may be released from the hospital on Monday if things keep looking the way they do.
Chris, AJ wanted me to apologize for disappearing when you were talking this morning. He said people kept calling on the phone to get updates and before he knew it, he was running late for the hospital.
