David took a deep breath as he stepped out of the sonic shower. He was tired
and mentally exhausted, but someone kept running through his mind...her name
was Joanna Kirk.
He cleaned up and dressed and went to her office. When he found out she
wasn't busy, he convinced her secretary to let him go unannounced. He saw
her self-isolated in her work as he peered in the door-he then leaned on her
door frame and tapped it with his knuckles, "Didn't think I could stay away
too long did you Joanna?"
Joanna had been seated at her desk going over her schedule for the day as
she sipped coffee. Coffee was a requirement to make sure that she made it
through the day. She glanced up from her PADD at the sound of his knock and
voice and a smile instantly spread across her lips. "Welcome home, David."

Joanna stood up and walked over to the other side of her desk where she
leaned up against it and crossedher arms. "Your trip started out with a
bang. How did it finish?" It was clear that she was relieved that he was
home.
