"Receival acknowledged," Terov said as the docking information
arrived, >"ETA
>30 minutes. General A'amon asks me to pass on the message that he
>recognizes he is not due to arrive until 1630 today; however I thought it >more logical to arrive a little early to allow time for ship inspection >and
>clearances."
>
>"Understood, should we wait for his welcoming committee until that time?"
"He will meet with the welcoming committee as scheduled; there is no need to delay. Terov out."
As the ships slid by Saturn, General A'amon watched the ringed planet float across his viewing window. "Beautiful," he said appreciatively.
"Really?" Lana D'amondra, the clone, replied indifferently as she joined him, "A gas giant, completely incapable of sustaining life. I see little beauty."

"There are many forms of beauty, Lana."

"The planet is deceptive and treacherous as a galactic entity, drawing the unsuspecting in with its beauty only to kill them with incomprehensible gravitational forces."
A'amon chuckled. "Keep that in mind as we meet with the Federation representatives, my dear."
The ships continued past the Mars defense grid, where they were met by a few small escort fighters, standard procedure. By the time they slowed on Spacedock approach, the group of ships was quite large. Captain Terov bid them farewell at the approach, and the Federation vessels went to acheive a higher orbit. A'amon's ship continued into Spacedock and were towed into the docking slip, where they started docking inspections...
Brad sent out pages to the necessary dignitaries to let them know of the arrival and to let them know that the reception was ready to go.
