Jaime watched him leave.  Then, she said to Chase, "I guess I'll see
you at lunch, then."  There was still some uncertainty in her voice,
but it was clear that she was bucking herself up for the task ahead.

Chase turned to look at Jaime. "I guess I will see you for lunch."

She nodded and watched him leave.  After he disappeared inside a turbolift, she stared down into her orange juice for several second.  She took a deep breath and let it out slowly.  Then, gathering the nearly empty glass and her padd, she stood and took the glass to the recycler.

Jaime caught a turbolift to the deck designated as home for the Aqualish ambassadorial offices.

As like most of the embassy suites, the Aqualish decorated their space in a way that reflected their culture.  It was like visiting a small part of their home world, which in a way, visitors were.  The color scheme was based on the soft, cool colors that would be found in a coral reef, with highlights of pinks,  yellows, oranges, and red.  Rather than using wood or metal for furniture, chairs and tables seemed to be designed with coral as a basic material.  The lighting was dimmer than found in many other areas of the station and had a bit of a blue-green tinge to them.

There was quiet music in the background that lent a soothing feeling to the atmosphere.  In a way, stepping into the reception area was not all that different than arriving at a tropical paradise like Pacifica or Riza.  A large, pale coral desk was near the door.  A male receptionist sat there and looked up with a smile.  "Welcome to the Aqualish Embassy.  How may I help you, miss.?

(Jaime?)
