"Given that this Brotherhood seems to have seemingly endless sources of
information about our actions, how do we safeguard the prisoner? How do
we carry out investigations into their activity to stop them?" Smallwood
asked to no one in particular.

Ariel decided that she had to jump into the conversation. "Since the
Brotherhood seems to have been able to inbed so many resources, perhaps it
would be better to highlight who we consider to be safe and have those
folks be ultimately responsible for the prisoner and the investigation.
By
highlighting who we are sure isn't a leak, we might be able to guarantee
security on the mission." She glanced around to see if anyone else
agreed.

"The only problem is that those supporting the mission, those that knew
about it, are the very people that leaked it. How to be sure that the ones
responsible for the prisoner are the ones that are truly safe..." Smallwood
countered.

"But those that leaked the information are most likely on the periphery of
the mission," continued the Commander. "I do not mean to be argumentative,
sir, but we need to start somewhere. Who are the people we are positive
are secure?"

"Apart from those in this room, I'd say the personnel that were assigned to
the Back River and the other runnabouts that took part in the operation. I
believe we can trust Captain Fitzgerald's senior staff, but I haven't been
able to clear his entire crew.", Smallwood answered.

"If it's of any help, my crew is made up of several races- humans, vulcans,
betazoids, and a few others. Plus up until recently we've been fairly far
away from here, and only came here after getting surprise orders to ferry
Admiral Jackson here. I doubt that Centurion would have been of any
interest to the Brotherhood at that time. Now maybe, but not before.
Assuming that, sirs, we can assume that my crew is relatively safe.",
Fitzgerald added.

"Thank you Captain, but just to be safe, let's just keep what ever we decide
to an absolute minimum number of people.", Smallwood added.

"Have we made a list of the people we know were brought in on this project?
That could help us in id'ing at least some of those that are involved in the
leak." K'Tael was very concerned about the leaks. The ongoing problem has
lead to the loss of more witnesses in this case than anything else. He
wanted to make sure that Jorgensen was going to be protected.

"Not a complete list. Please send Admiral t'Llhweiir and I a listing of
everyone that you spoke to both here and on Mars. We'll run down the list to
make sure that no one made contact of known Brotherhood members or anyone else
worth looking at. I'll be sure to send a list of personnel that I involved
here to both you and Admiral t'Llhweiir."
