OOC- I added something to this post from Pete. It seems as if his post got
lost in the flury of responses.
"Which is why I would suggest we leave him aboard the Centurian at present,
at least," Colin spoke up. "We can convert into stealth mode and hide out
here in our own solar system pretty much indefinitely. The Centurian can
be a very difficult target to hide when she needs to be."
"I concur," t'Llhweiir replied. "This would also minimize the number of
people whose communications we are monitoring."
"Securing the prisoner aboard the Centurian should not be difficult. There
would be no civilians to worry about, and we could limit access to the decks
near the prisoner to just necessary and approved personnel," added Ariel
Ares.
"I'm sure that his lawyer will demand unfettered access to her client. How
can this be accomodated?", Smallwood asked.
"We could set it up that once transported aboard, she could submit to voice,
retinal, and DNA scans before she is brought to visit him," continued Ares.
"The prisoner's lawyer came onboard with us," Wilson interjected. "She was
with him when Commander K'Tael and I left for this meeting. And she knows
that his life depends on keeping his location secret and secure."
"As much as we need to monitor the prisoner, let me remind all of us that we
also need to ensure Client/Counselor privacy/privilege no matter where he is
to ensure less possibility of technical error potential at trial.", David
interjected.
{response}
"Sounds like we have a plan. Commander K'Tael does this meet with your
approval?", Smallwood directed the question right at the Klingon Commander.
"I believe that this would work out just fine. I would like to have access
to a list of peronnel that will have access to and knowledge of the prisoner
while he is on board the Centurian." The Klingon was pleased that they were
making headway.
"Very well. Commander, you will be responsible for safeguarding the master
list. Captain Fitzgerald, please compile a list of your personnel that know,
and get it to Commander K'Tael asap. Admiral t'Llhweiir, Captain Boulay, and I
will get lists of those in our own department that know. Commander, you should
make a call to Mars as well.", Smallwood answered.
{OOC: For Smallwood's part- the only people in security that know about
Jorgensen are those present, and those that were manning the support
runnabouts- aka Lt. Doe and company on the Back River and Magothy.}
"You should also make some contingency plans should fleet operations decide
to send the Centurian on an errand. Recent events should have taught us to
expect the unforeseen."
The Klingon nodded. "Understood, sir."
"Captain Fitzgerald, may I suggest that you not only keep your ship in
stealth mode, but that you give the location to only those who absolutely must
know
them," t'Llhweiir said.
"I'll talk to Adm. Feylan at Fleet Operations. I am sure that he will want to
know why one of his starships is going dark on him.", Smallwood added.
{anything else to consider...}
