Lorin melted into her arms...the stress of the day vaporizing.
"Admiral Renaud," she whispered.
At the sound of the opening door, she stepped back and gathered her dignity
about her.
Lorin straightened his uniform and he cleared his throat.
Candance could not help a small smile. Even after 30 years, she could still
affect her husband that way. (But then again, the feeling was mutual.)
Just then, a young Aqualish male approached the pair. He was dressed in a
reserved outfit that was traditional to his people. While the Plantoc
seemed to lean toward the blues and purples of her people, this young man
seemed to be more greenish in color. His hair and eyes were a bright true
green, while his skin color seemed to favor a sea-green. "Good day,
Admirals. I am Dai'Cou y Caimlyn. I have been asked by the Plantoc to
representour people."
Lorin nodded.
"Greetings," Bedru replied. "Have the Plantoc and the others departed?"
Then another person came in and introduced himself,
"Admirals....sir....Assistant Federation Ambassador Marv Levy."
"Mr. Levy," Bedru replied with a nod. "Did Ambassador Watson brief you
before he left?"
It was so subtle that only Lorin would detect it, but upon mention of the
ambassador's name, Candance's shoulders tightened. Her facial features,
however, were carefully schooled to hold a gracious smile.
(response)
A small band of people were standing together and considering their varied
racial background, it was clear that they were the welcoming committee for
the Ramesar Ambassador. Koomah made his way over to them. "Is this where
we line up to welcome newcomers?" he asked with a smile that displayed the
usual mess of Klingon teeth.
(response?)
