"Yes, sir.", answered the Chief. A few moments later Lasiter appeared in
the transporter room.
"Gentle tides, General A'amon. It is good to see you, albeit unexpectedly.
Why don't we head to some place more comfortable so that we may talk."
"Thank you, Admiral. I apologize for the unexpected arrival; however, it
seemed the only way to speak with you in a less formal setting," A'amon
replied graciously.
Once outisde the transporter room Lasiter spoke again. "I was actually on
my way to greet a new ambassador, who I understand is petitioning the
Diplomatic Council for membership. Would you care to join the welcoming
party?"
A'amon's calm demeanor didn't change, but somehow he gave the impression he
was already fully aware who that new ambassador was. "T'remea Haryail will
be on hand as the Venasian representative to greet the new ambassador;
however, I will be more than happy to accompany you on your duties, as long
as you do not find my presence a hindrance."
