Smallwood took the oppertunity to close the debriefing, or at least move on
to the last topic.
"The last thing that I wanted to cover was the attacking ships, the larger
one in particular. Captain Fitzgerald, do you have anything to add
regarding this ship? Tactical analysis, general capabilities, thoughts on
where it came from, etc?"
"Sir, with a bit more discpline and training they will be a serious if not
major threat. They are well equipped and well armed......"
Fitzgerald and Smallwood traded comments back and forth for several minutes.
The conversation gave the impression that the brotherhood is not quite the
rabbel that is commonly believed. They have some training, and a heck of a
lot of desire. It was the Captain's opinion that they had some professional
help. Possibly from former or current Starfleet personnel. Not enough to
make an army, but enough to make them much more than an annoyance.
Smallwood had what wanted. People had their orders. Until further notice,
the prisioner Jorgenson would stay aboard the Centurian. K'Tael would
continue his investigation....
Dismissed.
K'Tael gathered together his note PADD and made his way over to Admiral
Smallwood. "Sir, I was wondering if I could have a few minutes of your time
at some point when you have an opening in your schedule."
