My apologies for my impromptu absence folks. I had an early start to
my day yesterday and found that the internet was down at work so I
never got around to checking my email until this morning.
I had over 300 messages in my mailbox. I have weeded through most of
it, but I am getting a lot in as we speak. I am not sure how many of
you saw last evening's NBC Evening News, but there was a story about
"Racy Reads" for teens. It has let to an upserge of anger on a number
of the library listservs I am on. Who knew we librarians could be so
defensive. Once I get caught up with things to make sure that I did
not miss any posts, I will start posting myself.
