"Mr. Ares, what can you tell us about these people and places on Earth. I
ask because it is possible that these people are tied to an organization
called the Brotherhood of Humanity," K'Tael glanced toward the Admiral in
the hope that his superior would not mind the information being shared.
"Are you familiar with them?"
Lorin nodded to K'Tael, almost imperceptibly to go ahead.
Gabe had heard of the Brotherhood from the news feeds, but he did not know
any details abou tthem other than that.
"They are a terrorist organization that has been very active in recent
months in performing acts against people who are involved with Earth's
interaction with other worlds. I am sure that you are familiar with the
attacks recently on Spacedock and at Admiral Lasiter's son's funeral. Those
are just two examples. The accident on Mars that you indicated they had
discussed was one in which I was involved, and we believe that the
Brotherhood was also involved with it."
"There was a lot of talk about 'the vineyard,'" started Gabe. There was no
mention of the specific location, but some of things that they said made me
think that it was in California. They reminded me of some of the things I
saw while I was at the Academy. This vineyard was tied to whomever was in
charge."
K'Tael glanced toward the Admiral. This sounded like something that The
Chief of Intelligence was going to want to hear.
