Interesting.  It seemed the Horta's brain was virtually separated into 
compartments.  While one remained dormant, another had minimal activity, a 
release of hormone at regular intervals. She wondered whether it functioned 
as an internal regulator during stasis, or possibly a chronometer.  
Carbon-based lifeforms had commonality among their organs, even if they were 
physiologically different, but in this case, it was more difficult to tell. 
She brought up some documentation on Horta physiology in the meantime, 
waiting to see what happened when 20 minutes were up.
