The Plantoc was making a quick stroll on the Promenade. It had been a busy
day, though she was pleased that she had been able to meet with so many of
the various council representatives so quickly. With that said, it had
also been pleasant to get out of her office and just stroll along with the
mass of living beings that resided and worked on the station along with those
who were just passing through.

She turned a corner and realized that she was not far from the Bajoran
Embassy. While the Bajorans were not members of the council, T'Kresh always
made an attempt to stop by and visit when new ambassadors were appointed to
the Federation and were housed out of the Space Station McKinley, otherwise
known as Spacedock. The Bajorans, like a number of other races held a
special place in her heard because of their shared history.

As much as T'Kresh had become comfortable with getting to know and work
with Melora Damesh, she had never been able to totally put aside the fact
that the Cardassians and caused so much harm to her people and homeworld ...
as they had done to so many others.

The plantoc entered the entry tot he embassy and quickly found that it
reflected the calm and reflective feel that is often found in Bajoran temples.
She walked up to the reception area, and greeted the person sitting there.
"I was hoping to speak with the new ambassador."
A young Bajoran male lifted his chin gazing toward the newcomer. "Good
Morning, Madam. In fact, the Ambassador has just arrived from Bajor..." He
paused unsure how to address the visitor. After the incident involving the last
ambassador and his assistants, the Bajoran Government had transferred all
officers and diplomats assigned to Spacedock back home... And after several
weeks, a new diplomatic team had been put together and a new amba!ador
chosen.
The Aqualish ambassador saw the look of confusion on the young man's face
and realize she had forgotten to identify herself. "My apologies. I am
Plantoc Ra'aj el T'Kresh, the ambassador from the Aqualish Union. I was hoping
to welcome the new ambassador."
ooc: Here is a quick look at what she looks like since the Aqualish are
unique to the game.
OOC: Wow, she looks a lot like the Na’avi from Avatar :)
OOC: I hdn't noticed that, but you are right!
A Vedek emerged from the small shrine installed inside the Bajoran Embassy.
Delicate hands removed the orange hood that hided her face, revealing, a
Bajoran woman apparently in her thirties, with emerald green soft eyes and
copper hair. "It's okay, Olie." As she walked the scent of myrrh spread
around the room, her earring's chain dancing gently next to her ear. "I am
Vedek Rika." She introduced herself.
T'Kresh's mouth broadened into a welcoming smile. "It is a pleasure to meet
you, Vedek," she started. "Welcome to the station."
“The pleasure is mine to be here.” The Vedek smiled softly indicating a
door that lead to her office. “Please...”
"I hope your journey to the Sol System was a pleasant one?" While it was a
statement, the tone in her voice indicated that it was a question to open a
 conversation with.
“It was.” The Bajoran woman replied as they entered her office. “Can I
offer you something to drink, Ambassador?”
"A glass of mineral water would be nice."
The Vedek ordered both drinking in the replicator. After passing the
Plantoc’s, the Vedek took the cup of Deka tea and siting next to the visiting
Ambassador. “Earth is a lovely planet, but I am still getting used to its
short day. Ours is 26 hours long.”
"I suspect that would be quite the adjustment. You lose two hours a day
to get things done," replied T"Kresh after taking a sip of water. "I know
what you mean about adjusting. I find that I spend a lot of time drinking
and going for swims since I don't have an opportunity to spend any time
underwater."
(Vedek?)
"Have you spent much time off of Bajor?"
(Vedek?)
