After Jerrick left, Carrhae, who had watched the entire process, "If you
have not been a spy in your past, Matthew, you have missed a calling," she
said with admiration.
Matthew smiled at her. "The trick in medicine is getting the
patient to do the right thing by making them think it was their idea in the
first place." He shrugged. "This isn't so different."
"That approach is pretty effective with spouses, too," she said with
a smile. She walked towards him, "Now, where were we?"
"someplace our younger readers can't follow us," he told her.
And with that, the scene faded to black.
Seems to do that a lot with these two.....
