Mirek, there is a problem with having home in /var/lib or generally where you also have other (no-home-ish) data: SELinux. The file_contexts.homedirs takes priority over file_contexts, so when we'll try to create SELInux policy module, it will be overwritten by the homedir rules. I'm actually hitting the same problem with Oracle XE.
