I will take the liberty to answer for Matej since I'm his technical leader for this thesis.
Matej has long time for his thesis. In fact he must work on it at least 1,5 year. It can not be shorten. It can be only longer.
And since we hope that we will have Pg Port done in summer or autumn he will have no work then.
So I choose for his work some topic where we are not pressed by time, but still it is feature "nice to have".
Anyway, I hope that some side effects of his work will affect (in positive way) both Oracle and Pg schema. You never know.
