The approach I've always taken was to do what feels natural, in most cases
to me that was just using the string, cuz I hated the constants :) and to those
that wanted to use the constants I let them.

Since I saw more being added I figured I'd ask if it was being done because
folks liked it or if it was being done simply because others were doing it.

I sense this might end up being one of those vi vs emacs type of
debates, so I'm fine with
letting folks add them as constants if they *want* :)
